Triba's Pizza Impossible not to talk about art when introducing Triba Reys, singer and chef who has been surprising cariocas with his distinctive pizzas. After 15 years in Florianópolis, Triba brought his brand to Rio de Janeiro, more precisely to the Santa Teresa area, a neighbourhood that carries a great deal of the city's history. What sets the pizza apart is its wholemeal base, made with sweet potato and flaxseed, light and very healthy, with no fat, eggs or sugar. Beyond the impeccable presentation, every detail is thought through to make a final product rich in flavour and health. The fresh tomato sauce is made in house, as is the requeijão, prepared by hand. The beetroot ketchup and the chayote mustard are attractions in their own right: with striking flavours and no chemical additives, they have won over even the most traditional customers.
